Sonic the Hedgehog 2: Special Edition

Man that game was awesome. Such a rare title though

+ - It's a fake game obviously (ok I thought it was real at first). :v: An SA goon with a copy of Premiere Pro was bored and just went nuts all over Sonic 2. If you haven't watched it yet, do it now.  

 

It's fake. Clearly. Tell me you didn't think it was actually real.

 

Ignoring all give aways like the fonts, character art and general laziness in piecing it together, take a look at the Sonic Team logo.

Yeah, this topic is unimportant. The box cover is obviously made up, and I could totally tell that screenshot of the title screen was also faked. Thread closed.

+ - People who are retarded enough to waste our time with something that seems spectacular, but in fact, looks terribly cheap and mocked up, should be drug out into the street and shot.  

 

Every time a thread like this pops up on the internet, I'm really glad I held back on making the first video full fledged insanity.

LOL, Hedgehog Heaven music makes it particularly obvious if nothing else.

 

The 'development interview' and the part where it randomly switches to Pocket Adventure made me laugh so hard.

Docfuture is pretty much my favorite person on the internet right now. Sonic 2 Special Edition is his magnum opus, but his Super Tempo LP is my favorite work of his by far. He also has a Youtube page and a blog and an account on this forum. We should all send him emails begging for an increase in his activity here, despite this being a terrible, terrible community. I'm not content with simply stalking and salivating from afar- I crave tangibility. I want him right here, within reach. I want him to be a part of my life forever.

Yeah. About half-way through it dawned on me that it couldn't be legit, and I never saw anything about it again.

In the Metropolis video, is that an actual stage in Chaotix? I don't think I've ever seen it before and besides the "Sonic in Chaotix" hack, I don't know of any stage hacks for the game.

Also, where did the 3D ending to Sonic 2 come from? o.O

Besides that, I've really enjoyed this inane Let's Play. :P

 

This thing made my freakin' DAY! That was one of the funniest things I've ever seen. I only hope it's never lost :P
