I bit the dust and bought the Metal Sonic/Death Egg Zone pack for $8. :X

Also, I finally got to play online for the first time... and wow I'm a LOT better at the game then I thought I was! I even managed to get the "Lap a Person" trophy on my first race! o_O Ditto with the "Get First Place" trophy...

But anyway, it seems like not a whole lot of people play online on the PS3 version... ah well, just enough to finally collect the last trophies I need (which is just the "Hit People 100 Times" trophy).

There's a new PS3 theme on PSN.

 

A fair amount of Retroers have the PS3 version. We should all set up a massive race or something.

Also, I doubt any more DLC is planned for release. There's got to be a reason they overcharged for the DLC. I mean, this is practically a Namco or Aksys level of overpriced DLC. In comparison, Unleahsed's DLC, while $18 total, was a better value for all the new stages and shit it added.

 

More DLC? I need to find some way to harass Sumo Digital to do this X3

It would have been nicer to see some Alex The Kidd tracks. Or some other non-Sonic characters. Hell, just more tracks in general would have been super. Of course, Blaze could be included in a pack with all those things.

 

That Blaze pic is awesome! I want to see her and Silver as DLC soon. I also have an idea for a track based off Mad Matrix or Digital Circuit from the Shadow game. What can I say? I want more.

Blaze has a cool car in that pic. I wonder what Silver's car would look like.

 

He wouldent have a car, he'd stand on a broken off bonnet/hood of a car and just fly around with telekinesis

 

There's too much Sonic the Hedgehog content in this game already.

 

I can't be the only one who see's Rouge's ears in that car's front view.

Actually, that would be pretty cool. My vote still goes for the Space Harrier guy, although I have no idea what he'd drive.

I stand no more DLC is coming. If there is, though... they really should reconsider their pricing strategies. Then again, do remember there was a rumbling of a sequel already in development... a bit soon, IMO, but whatever. If that's true, they'd have less reason to burn new tracks into the existing game when they can package them into a new game and charge $50-60 for it.

 

I personally think that the sequal route is the better choice as opposed to DLC. Though my opinion was inverted when it came to L4D.
