There's no way that could be the final Sonic 1 if those U.F.O.s were there. My guess is that it's a later beta than the one we've seen in the screenshot.

 

I think it was a after this beta screenshot. http://www.sonic-cult.org/imagebin/slzmissingarea.gif because it appears that there is actually a background in the spot it shows Starlight zone.

 

It looks really interesting, but I can't see it. I don't have WinRAR . could someone please upload it to quicktime format, or win. media?

That's really no excuse. Although "Winrar" is only for "Windows", it's called Rar32 for all the other platforms it's released on such as DOS, OS2, Linux, FreeBSD, Pocket PC, and Mac OS X. I actually use the DOS version on my old 16 MHz 386 PC for extracting as well as creating archives.

That's like saying a hamburger is "close" to a block of wooden bricks.

 

When painted correctly, wooden blocks can bare a great resemblance to a hamburger.

 

But then that's just a wooden brick with paint applied to it.

I dunno what to make of the video, but those floating.. things would get really aggrivating while playing that.

 

Wow. Wayne's World? I saw that a few days ago, but I just thought it was the producers who made the movie and put the ufo's on the screen so they don't have to pay alot of dosh.
but then I rememberd this site and thought "hmmm marble zone beta".
