Sonic & SEGA All Stars Racing

I thought when this game came out I'd ignore Big completely, avoid playing as him. That picture made me change my mind.

Also, inb4 Sega making the Werehog a character in this game.

Sega probably could have done a lot better with guest racers, it's not like Banjo has much pull.

 

Veeery intresting. Though 2 things:

Why are they outsourcing simple box art stuff to a single freelancer; Scratch that, I didn't know he was SEGA Europes box guy.
And it is just using stock Nuts and Bolts art.

 

Banjo and Kazooie have long been my all time favorite icons. I'm quite happy to see the possibility of them being playable in this, and yet at the same time it's extremely depressing knowing this will potentially be the very last game I see them in I'll give a damn about.

 

Alright, if the 360 gets Banjo, I want PS3 to get Ratchet. Either him or Sackboy.

Or Noby Noby Boy.

 

I'd be almost willing to put money on it being Sackboy, especially with the news that LBP is getting a Sonic skin for sackboy.

But man, I'd love to see Nathan Drake, riding on top of a freight train.

 

It's going to be Jak.

You know, the one that "inspired" a whole fleet of platform-based weapons games in 2005 after Jak II? Like Shadow The Hedgehog?

Nah, it'll be Ratchet and Clank. They have so many strange weapons that it's almost a shoe-in for them.

 

I dunno, that meeting note makes it sound like R&C's developers aren't allowing him to appear in other people's games.

 

Also, R&C isn't actually a sony property. Insomniac isn't owned by Sony, they just develop exclusively and work closely with teams like Naughty Dog.

 

I'd love to see Crash.

Master Chief in a warthog would be great too, but he's probably not cartoony enough.

 

Hey, don't forget the Wii version. Mario is clearly going to be a shoe-in. His vehicle? A kart. His all-star move? Goddamn blue shells.

Or maybe just a Starman or Bullet Bill, I dunno

 

Mario should ride Yoshi if he's in this game.

 

In THAT case MC should be an obvious 3rd party choice.

 

In THAT case Solid Snake should be an obvious 3rd party choice on PS3.

...Well, granted, he's not actually a Sony property (thank god), but the Metal Gear series is mostly associated with the PlayStation line, plus MGS: Peace Walker is currently in development for PSP.
