S3K The Classics

As some of you know I'm working on a sonic 1 hack called sonic 1 revelation. But I have always wanted to hack s3k but never bothered. But now I have been working on new palettes and plan to change new layouts and the special stages. And I hope to do asm edits in the future. Here are some screenshots, so check these out:

Thats it for now,AIZ layout is in the works, the first and second special stages have been edited. More screenshots to come soon. C&C please.

Those palletes seem very nice on the eyes, especially the Sandopolis one.

I'd love to see where this goes.

I love what you've done here.

Recommendations; lose the magenta on the title screen (otherwise nice), desaturate Hydrocity's background, and add a secondary colour to Sandopolis -- if you want to keep the 'all blue' feel, make two blues, one closer to cyan, and one closer to violet; and you're wasting those extra sky shades by making them all the same blue as well. Dare I suggest a gradient from what would appear to be dusk/dawn at the bottom part?

And seeing as varion proved to get s3k building in stealth's disasembly I hope to do asm edits in the future.

I like these palettes, but I wouldn't mind a different colour for the title screen background though.

Ah.. my mistake, I was planing to change the titlescreen a bit.

The sandpolis is kinda meant to be like that. But I may make the fg lighter or darker to the bg, I was trying to make it more of a night feel, but then was told it looked more like frzoen and so, I keep it like that, I really like the palette and I'm keeping the cold look but maybe make the blue lighter or darker. Thanks for the comments so far keep them rolling =P.

Hydrocity Zone reminds me a bit of Castlevania.

I gotta say, I REALLY like the MGZ and CNZ palettes. Those two are definite keepers, in my eyes. =P

Wow, a lot of S3K are in the works now. Awesome.
I really like the background color used in the titlescreen but the ring color should be changed.

MHZ and SZ's palettes look fantastic! The Marble Garden one also looks very nice.

I was talking about the titlescreen name =/. Plus theres no way I could hex edit that in, unless a disamebly was set up.
Thanks for your comments, I was suprised to get more positive feed backs then bad. I will alter HCZ a bit but I will keep the red feel to it, just like the blue cold feel to sandopolis. And the titlescreen will be edited so expect screenshots on that, and I'm soon to work on the palettes I've not done/shown you. AIZ,FBZ,DEG, and will edit the competition stages, and more will be shown soon.

Erm just a note, My disassembly was started from scratch because Stealth's was SK, Mine has the S3 data attatched to it with out the redundant shit from S3. :P. Also if you need help aswell don't hesitate to ask.

Like the DEZ palette, but why would Robotnik make the Death Egg purple? The green in FBZ looks great although I'm not sure about the plain grey in the foreground. I have to see it in motion to tell. I don't know what you change in SZ but it looks even more awesome.

I altered sz's fg palette a bit, because the bg and the fg looked too much the same and didn't fit.

UPDATE: More palettes.... competition stage palettes.

HCZ layout is in production and a video of it shall be up as soon as I'm finished.
