As remarkable as that comment is, it is funny that it comes out of the one game I'd ever consider labeling as both worst RPG and worst platformer for a single franchise.

Paper Mario: Thousand Year Door really was awesome. Super Paper Mario on the other hand is hands down one of the worst pieces of shit ever to be received with open arms.

 

The original Paper Mario was an amazing game and quite fun. The second game was alright, but not as great as everyone always makes it out to be. Super Paper Mario is a fun little platformer with tons of RPG elements and the same quirky sense of humor of the other Paper Mario games. While it's certainly not groundbreaking, it's not "one of the worst pieces of shit ever to be received with open arms."

Okay, but would you care to elaborate on why it's so bad?

EDIT: Also, I know what point you're trying to make, Snifit. You're saying that people are criticizing every new Sonic game that's announced before they even play it.

 

This. Just... This.
The only thing I enjoyed about Super Paper Mario was some of the dialogue. ...Mainly in the Bitlands.
The music sucked, and everything tried way too hard to be all abstract and weird.
Also, whereas The Thousand Year Door was hilarious, and even the first Paper Mario had its funny moments, Super Paper Mario ended up being way too serious.
It just didn't work for me.
