Watchmen would be a funny one, although it'd never happen. It'd actually have a decent cast.

Sonic = Nite Owl Hog
Tails = Ozymandias
Knuckles = The Comedian
Shadow = Rorschach
Silver = Dr. Manhattan
Amy = Silk Spectre II
Eggman = Moloch
Blaze = Janey Slater

And some extras that don't exactly fit, but come close enough:
Rouge = Silk Spectre I
Espio = Hooded Justice
Charmy = Big Figure

Robin Hood, Seriously seems to be a likely option anyway.
We've had the story of Aladdin / Ali Baba in Secret rings,
King Arthur (I think) in Black Knight
And yeah, Robin hood seems to be the most likely option going off the 'Characters that might have existed but are probably just legend' Cliche

Isn't Robin Hook essentially the same type of era as Black Knight though? I mean sure, the events are supposedly 600-800 years apart, but it's still decisively medieval. There just isn't any magic involved like in the other two games we have so far. But it even takes place in England... so I don't think it is especially ideal.

Mean Bean may be the only one which featured Robotnik, but I'd count every Puyo game released after '93 as a "sequel" of sorts. Shit, if anything, go play the Puyo Puyo level in Sega Superstars Tennis with Eggman.

Sonic and the Three Blind Mice? Nah. Sonic and Juliet? Maybe, if they don't have Sonic kill himself in the end, so it most likely won't happen.

Sonic goes to Neverland, now THAT could work. Imagine running around in different stages based on the Peter Pan movies, and the "catch" could be that you can use pixie dust to fly around in some areas, a la NiGHTS. And the final boss could be an epic duel against Captain Hook.

I could see Amy as Wendy, Shahra as Tinkerbelle, Shadow as the Indian Chief, Robotnik as Capt. Hook, Knuckles and Tails as the boys (Don't recall their names right now), and Cream as the other little girl (Again, can't recall her name).

That sounds like a good game for the Storybook Series, eh?
