Nothing special. Just some palettes; that's all. Sunrise Hill Zone: Fiery Plains Zone: WELCOME TO HELL! Sunset Park Zone: Flooded Ruins Zone: Generic, yes I know. But oh well! Sparkle Night Zone: Azure Agony Zone: That's all for now, folks.
Sunrise Hill looks 8-Bit like(I find that quite pleasing) and Fiery Plains colors are just to rough for my eyes, if you're trying to go for the fiery type make the sky more orange, change that red to something more eye-friendly and add some more colours. The rest seems very nice specially the Flooded Ruins, I kinda like that green in there.
The first shot is a bit contrasting with all the colors, but that Marble Zone art is awesome! I like how you always try and keep things very colorful and upbeat—it really helps maintain the cheerful nature of the game.
Two things I did today: Yay for peelout. :o (The art/mappings and stuff for it are in, just not the peelout move itself.) I'm feeling loopy. :v:

Indeed. The only thing I did with the SYZ palette was darkened most of the shades by about 1 or 2. Hmm... in light of this, I'll change it to something... more sunset-like. Again, thanks for the comments. Sunrise Hill - Thanks. I never thought of it that way. Fiery Plains - Yeh, I thought that as well. I'll get round to that soon. Flooded Ruins - Again thanks. I thought it would be too generic. The rest - Once again, thank you. All your comments are much appreciated, Omega Marcus. Cheers! So, the lesson here is: Pay attention to your file types. Don't end up like me - a clot!
I think that the Chemical Plant art is really nice looking. The Marble Zone edit makes it look too flat and lifeless, kind of like a Mario game or something. Also too much brown is no good.
