Oh I suck at making animations x.x But I'll try some later ^^

 

Hand drawn ending frames? B&W or color? Obviously this is a little rough, but you get the idea. Simple as shit, but it's something. I bit off more than I could chew with that so called "animation" I was planning and burned myself the fuck out on it, but I remember people talking about how they wanted the slides anyway.

Sonic Warrior, that is a FANTASTIC start!!

If the ending frames could be developed in 1280 x 960, so we can have a full screen for each image in complete colour, that would be phenomenal.

Putting them in color would ruin the original intentions, I'd go for realistic-looking sepia toned pictures. They could start piling one on top of each other, even.


That frame's looking great, by the way.

 

I've got it at a crazy DPI, I'm just not sure which. I scaled it down for posting it.

I'll do a color one sometime today.

 

I think its true that grayscale does give a certain artistic quality, though I would like to see a colour version - we can always change the colour version to grayscale later if we change our minds.

There's a rom hack which has Sonic 2's ending sequence in colours (though I can't find it anywhere to download). The colours in it aren't perfect, but they could be used as a reference. Here's a youtube vid of it anyway:

I wasn't having a dig at you for not being able to find the rom - I mentioned it because I hoped others might have it on their hard drives and would then post it here :P

The normal ending can be in sepia tone/grayscale and beating the game with all the emeralds can give you a colorful ending... Sounds good to me. :F

 

RAMPKORV had this idea a long time ago and I like it. It is always nice with more ending. It is up to you all to decide such a thing in the end.

 

Maybe an option to have colour or black and white? Quite honestly, I think colour looks awful in the ending.

 

Or it could be a feature for the "arrange mode", only.

I like the idea, but I don't think it should be forced to Sonic 2 fans.

 

Yeah, this game was relatively low on rewards for getting all of the emeralds -- especially as Tails, since all you got was bragging rights.

There needs to be something special for completing the game as Tails with the emeralds in any case, and that may mean another set of frames for the ending for him.

 

So why exactly is it that Tails can't turn Super without the Super Emeralds? Maybe we should let him do that here just as an easter egg at least.

What does HD Sonic look like in Super Peel-Out?

 

/\/\/\ No reason that I'm aware of, but it certainly would add another level of interest to give him a super form.

Super peel-out wasn't in the original, and I'm not sure if that's under consideration as an extra (or if any thought's been given to it at all yet). Good suggestion though.
