But... will we be seeing Sonic running around saying "YOU'RE GOING STRAIGHT TO HELL!" while beheading people? It IS a sword

Sonic and a sword may work well as far as gameplay goes, but it won't be a Sonic title, it'll be some sword fighting game with Sonic in it. Quite frankly, I'm getting bored of their trial and error attempts at Sonic games as of late and just bloody do a 2D Sonic in High Definition. We'd all like it (or, at least want it more then this POS) and it's not like they'd have to experiment - the formula is already there. I don't understand why they'd want to try out new ideas using their mascot franchise, it just ruins Sonic. If they wanted to make a sword game, make a new franchise. They're essentially doing that already with this game, they're just slapping in Sonic for some god forsaken reason.

 

This isn't the first time Sonic's had a sword you know.

Man, not only is it a sword, but it's also serrated, for extra damage to the organs and other soft tissues.

Maniac seems unconcerned that Sonic is waving that sword in his face... he appears to be holding a stick. Man, he kinda got jipped there. Does Sonia's sword have a kink in it or is it some kind of artifact.

Also, colour me owned. I can't say I can remember that episode (or most of SU, actually, ) Still though, you don't see a guitar based sonic game, do you? :P Although idea of "Sonic Guitar Hero" just went through my head... *shivers*

It's towards the end of the video and is maybe a second and a half long. Hard to judge anything by this but...I'm sure someone here will.

 

damn it, I tried to skip ahead to the end of the video and then it wouldn't let me go back.

A second and a half long? Thing I'll pass anyway. Animal Crossing looked good though.
