Yes, I plan to have all levels draw some sort of element from Sonic CD. In this level's case, it's not just Quartz Quadrant
That looks great! I know it's just a gigantic clusterfuck of existing level art, but that turned out quite well regardless. :D

Actually that's one of its flashing frames, instead of the distorted stuff.... Tweaker, what's 'clusterfuck' Supposed to mean? Edit: Whoops lol
I posted an earlier version near the beginning of this topic. This is Chaos Crystal/Crystal Chaos Zone (can't decide), updated. C&C please.
reminds me of crystal egg zone! nice. I would go for chaos crystal over crystal chaos, it sounds less generic, less obvious.
Yeah, that's what this level is influenced from. In fact, I have a converted version of Crystal Egg Zone for this level. I plan to have a different music per act system, though.
I wanted a sunset, I got one. I know, it's not creme de la creme, but I'm pleased anyway. Of course it needs to be improved, but I would like to hear your opinions and constructive critics. My hand. It hurts.
About 50% complete background for Turquoise Groove Zone, replacing GHZ. I'm using S2GG/SMS's Green Hills Zone as music.
Foreground chunk for Moonlit Caste Zone. Now I need to find a way to easily make the other 9001 chunks. D:

I like it. <!--quoteo(post=209084:date=Jul 21 2008, 05:18 PM:name=P.P.A.)--><div class='quotetop'>QUOTE (P.P.A. @ Jul 21 2008, 05:18 PM) Now I need to find a way to easily make the other 9001 chunks. If it is you might want to brighten it a bit so it doesn't look like it's in the background.

I felt the art'd need something rounded, so not everything has got right angles. EDIT: Taking a closer look at it again, I actually feel the wavy line somehow disturbs the rest of the art. here's another version, is it better now?
Not bad, but I think it would be awesome if you made that water slide work like the ones in LZ in Sonic 1
@ P.P.A.: Ah, good. Just checking. @ SOTI: Level seems very linear from what I can tell. The music needs some work, too (specifically the PSG).
I'll look into it, I can't promise anything but I do want to have the slide working like LZ. I'll sort that out, PSG sucks & I need to use better voices.
