    I agree. I also think that if a mixed pattern "very 8-bit" in the graphics of this game, it may fall on concerns of the good graphics. In my opinion, this game has a high tendency to grow very beautiful on the hacking scene.

    I hope you change the invincibility theme to a 16-bit rendition of S2 GG or Sonic Chaos. Everything else seems to be overused.

    NEWS: I want to form a Hacking Team, PM me if want to help.

    Requirements:

    Know how to edit layouts, object placement, etc... (The basic in hacking)
    Know how to edit art.
    Know ASM (at least the basic).
    Know how to port musics.

    If you don't meet these requirements you have to read a bit and learn the things above, then, talk to me!

    The pallets are good and the selected musics too. The only weird zone is Marble Area.

    Seriously, why? I know Megamix is awesome; I've said many times that it's the very reason I started hacking (Which is true), but come on, do your own thing and make a hack that's independently awesome. It'll get compared to Megamix anyway on YouTube and stuff, like mine does despite having a very different design philosophy and ethos to Megamix.

    I only want to do this tecnically, like, importing. Super Peel Out, creating the Double Jump, Adding New Characters, Better Music, etc. Be calm, I won't change my hack's objective. It will be totally independent... :-) !

    I would not press myself to work towards such a goal. Unless you have the knowledge of Tweaker, Stephen, Stealth, etc.

    I don't have that knowleged YET, it can be acquired with hard work and reading. I didn't say I'll beat Megamix now. It can be by the end of 2016! I only woud like to have ,one day, the comments that Megamix have, like, being a wonderfull hack, being funny, interesting and unique...

    The yellow clashes with the blue. And I have to ask, WHY JPEG? Can you make the screens png, and maybe use the default resolution?

    Okay, here is the new pallet for Marble Zone, it will be the Underground Zone from Sonic 2 (8-Bit).

    The palette looks good on the zone, but jesus, why would you change the hud and lives counters' colors? They look terrible and clash with the level.

    And I'm not big on Sonic's color either. Too dark for my taste.

    Also, learn to export x1 gifs/pngs. Jpegs are ugly.
