That's crazy, but, then again, I paid all of 3 dollars for my copy.

Did the DVD box have a sticker or anything saying that Sonic Heroes was in it as a bonus? Or did you just open it up and out came an extra CD?

I wonder if they'll start putting Super Mario Sunshine in with Super Mario Bros. Super Show episodes. :P

 

They must be trying really hard to get rid of their copies of Sonic Heroes. I can see why.

Meh, once you get past the really tight (REALLY TIGHT) controls, one can find an overall decent, maybe even pretty dang good, game.

 

Sonic R, Sonic Adventure 2, and Sonic 06 are all far superior in my opinion. Hell, I even think Shadow is more playable than this pile of shit (even though it looks and sounds worse)!

Oh yes? Sonic 06 did have some of the best level design in the whole 3D series, tight controls (on foot, let's ignore the machspeed, vehicle and boarding parts...), technically unimpressive but stylistically excellent graphics and a great soundtrack. Too bad that all couldn't mask the fact that it was released in a completely unfinished state with bugs, errors in collision detection and physics and a lot of other unrefined elements such as the long loading times or the rushed adventure fields. Nonetheless, I enjoyed it(s levels) a lot more than the painful yet admittedly shiny-looking torture all of Heroes is.
May I ask if you've even played the game?

 

To me it doesn't matter how pretty a game looks or how good music is if the controls suck. If the game is unfinished like Sonic 06 was... it's just a bad game.

 

What about voice acting! I could not sit though more than 5 minuets of Sonic '06 before my ears started to bled! Tails sounded like a gay old lady! Not to mention the game was way to hard to control. Although the levels were designed well the controls and engine just made it to much to take. Why did they not simply recycle SA's engine?
