Last Sonic Game You Played?

Sonic 3, did a whole run without dying once. Excellent.

 

Sonic 3 on SMC +. Got all the emeralds by Hydrocity Zone, and went to fight the Act 2 boss, then went too far and I ran into the prison pod. Then then I was stuck there for the rest of the ten minutes, and hitting the prison pod resulted in about six minutes of posing. That shit pissed me off so much...

 

Haha, yeah, that one always pissed me off in HCZ. Never managed it in S3K, but that was probably a bugfix.

Sonic 2 GG. Can't get past the first boss though. =P

 

The last game I was playing, I played Sonic 1 via Sonic Mega Collection for Gamecube. :D

 

What I'd like to know is who's the absolute MORON that decided it should be called the Insta-shield.

It does squat to defend you, but instead extends your ATTACK radius, letting you hit either from farther away, or through certain defenses safely.

For instace, with ol' Grabby Gus in Launch Base 2, you can rape him while he thinks he's safe under the platform by Insta-shielding (I fuckin' HATE that name) as you jump down on him. you'll bounce off safely, and cut your time needed WAY down.

Of course, Knux gets fucked over, but that's hardly new... Hell, if you fight him where Sonic does (and it IS possible without debug), you don't even get the luxury of being Super....

Sonic 2. Hacks of Sonic 2 overall.

 

My Genesis took a giant shit a few years ago (it never recovered, either) so I didn't play any Sonic games for a few years. However, a few months ago, I downloaded the ROMs and an emulator and played them again. I played Sonic The Hedgehog 1 about a week ago.

 

Sonic 1... on my phone. When you're in the middle of Maine wilderness, you don't have much selection.

Last "legitimate" Sonic game was S3&K for his birthday, though I was Tails.

 

Sonic Next Gen again, on X360. Controls still suc— err, need to be worked on.

 

Am I the only person who never found the Sonic 2 gg boss hard? You just stand there, and jump over the bombs. Eventually it just dies. It's not hard AT ALL.

Last game I played was Sonic Jam, when I beat the Casino Night Zone boss for the third time.

 

It was either Sonic R or Sanik teh Hadgehag. :lol:
