    Welp, this.
    I got Sonic 2 with my Genesis for Christmas 1992.

    I actually opened the Sonic 2 box before I opened the Sega Genesis, and I distinctly remember being upset because I thought my parents had bought the game for the wrong system (I had a Sega Master System at the time. :P).

    Sonic 2 Game Gear, my first video game BTW.

    A quite difficult game for a first game, but I finished it anyway after trying many times, and I like it. This game introduced me to the Sonic world. See where I'm now, 13 years later...

    Sonic 1 was my first game (for the genesis). I Don't know exactly when I first played because I was born the same year as sonic. I was 1 when it came out.

    I can't really remember if I owned sonic 1 or 2 first

    My brother got the genesis for christmas....in 1993 I believe...could be wrong. We were little though (3/4 years old).

    Anyway, the genesis definetly came packed with a sonic game, but I can't recall if it was with sonic 1 or 2....I think it was sonic 2, but I remember playing sonic 1 really early as well :/

    I started out playing sonic 2 for genesis/megadrive and got stuck on the mystic cave. I always loved sonic 2.
