Something mildly interesting

you're talking to someone that used to repair damaged images for fun... it is HaHa.. :P

 

couldnt find the sign itself, but I found this from when I was working on it.. I resized/sharpened it as needed to get the right aspect.. the lower right sides of the small letters have two straight edges, making them a's rather than o's... stuff on the sides isn't edges of letters, but sides of the sign



also did that, but the frames are a bit off cause I suck at animating :P

 

I also agree with everyone else that it is "Ha ha". It looks like "Ha Ha" to me clearly, with and without Crysta's picture, which is nicely done BTW.

 

Is it just me, or is that running animation different?

the reason it looks a bit off is because the image is so damn old and blended, the eyes have kinda merged

*edit* appaently the aspect I was working in is also a bit squished.. lol

 

But that's the Sonic 2 running sprite @_@ Even though it's impossible to see any small changes in the sprite due to the rubbish quality, I think his spikes possibly look shorter in that mag pic.

 

but no, that's taken straight from sonic 1 :P


and as to it looking shorter.. like I said, my pic wasn't stretched out properly :P

 

There's more to it then an aspect error. Look at the eyes, closely. The face is completely different.

 

His spikes look slightly shorter to me as well on the pic on the left.

 

no, his eyes are the same... the back one has just merged into the background along wiht his nose.. the front one, alone on white, has grown

the spikes are shorter because, as I shall say YET AGAIN, the image is squished somewhat, if the width was stretched a bit (I cant be arsed to find out how much) it would match perfectly :P

 

The thing I don't get about the eyes is how they're merged. I mean, wouldn't one be merged with the background, being that it's on the very edge of the sprite?
