Hey, guys - been a minute and a half since I've actually posted a topic here.

I was looking at creating a playlist in my Apple Music library that's just 'best of Sonic music' for while I'm working from home. I'm a senior iOS dev for a living, 9-5, and I find the Sonic music familiar, non-distractive, and a joy to listen to.

I'd like to find (or start!) the equivalent of SonAR (Sonic Archive Roms, not sure if I'm allowed to link to that here) for Sonic OST's.

I should mention I'm a professional audio engineer when I'm not programming for a living, and I'm a stickler for the best quality rips possible.

Recently I've literally just shoved my decades-old CD-rom copy of Sonic CD for Win95 and ripped the audio, along with Sonic 3D Blast for the Saturn.

Fortunately, these are two of my favourites. Still, I'm longing for stuff like Marina Madness from Chaotix, Oil Ocean from Sonic 2, the 'Green Hills' theme from Sonic 2 SMS/GG; and a bunch of stuff from SA1, in particular.

Is there any sort of resource where I can even find .VGM's of these, and convert them to 320 MP3's? I don't wanna be asking for potentially illegal direct rips, here - I'm just a fan who'd like some pleasant instrumental music while she's working. *shrugs*

Miss you guys. Thanks for all the good times and memories. I'm still lurking. Feel free to DM me.

EDIT: Seems I may have answered my own question: https://soahcity.com/sonic-music/

EDIT 2: It is still *woefully* incomplete.

If nobody has any resources that are *100%* complete, or at least damn close, for this - would anyone be interested in me creating a simple, free, online resource for this? I could whip up something like this in a week with the help of the community on IRC or something :)

https://downloads.khinsider.com/ has a lot of video game music. No idea as to its legality, but I've found Sonic music on there that I haven't seen anywhere else.
