You know what would be totally megawesome but totally gamebreaking easy? An online co-op boss rush mode, or even a co-op online adventue.
Perhaps removing the water and the lava? They don't need to be there.
Sonic 3 and Knuckles is the best Sonic game ever.
Although its not perfect, its the closest a Sonic game has been to it even if it has problems...

I don't think grind rails would be a bad idea if used only a few times, akin to the twisting loops in Emerald Hill.
Or just use Tails to carry you when you need to jump. :P
It's still a jumpless Sonic run, though.
Can anyone say what happens to Chip at the end of the game? I quite like the chemistry between him and Sonic, hoping they'll do more of it.
