On another note I'm using ubuntu jaunty, wine 1.1.18, nvidia gs8400 and R1 is the only one where I don't have any...
A nitpick but...
I think the shadow that under the sign that is circled in red should also rotate along with the sign
Opengl can do everything that direct3d can do. and it is cross platform.
Just look at counterstrike source running under wine in directx9 mode....
You can also use inkscape. It is free to download. and a hell of a lot smaller than illustrator.
something needs to be done with the black underneath it(make it dark grey or something). It currently looks strange.
Can we see what the two different shapes look like in a normal resolution like you would see it in game?
I really think the original ring sprite is wide so it can be seen in the game(because of the animation). Even though it is wide, when I still look...
1 is way to dark.
2 is too shiny.
3 just needs a little bit more shine.
4 too wide. Even if the original sprite was that wide, it just doesn't...
no shadows in real life are pitch black, and the underneath of those high res rings look pitch black
