I am a Sophomore Computer Science major who just happens to be a Sonic The Hedgehog geek. I have always been interested in the mechanics and software implementation of the classic Sonic games. From this fascination, I learned different programming languages, such as C, C++, GML, etc., in hopes that I could replicate those classics. I'm currently designing a game engine written in C/C++ that is similar to GameMaker, but boasts a much more powerful scripting language called AngelScript. I have big plans for this engine, while for the moment it runs a my re-engineered version of Sonic 2 that is still in it's infancy. Hopefully with this engine, I would gain more experience with multi-platform development and deployment systems and make something that can become a very profitable investment of time and headaches.
