    Hi, I'm Sam. I'm 21 years old, and I am an English teacher. I've been interested in Sonic for a long time, and I am &quot;trying&quot; to one day put together some sort of academic paper on Sonic.<br />
    <br />
    I was born in the North of the UK in 1991. First console was a Sega MD, with Sonic 2. Soon as I could hold a controller I was playing on it. <br />
    <br />
    I went to University in Newcastle, where I studied a BA (Hons) in English Literature and Language, specialising in Literature and Film in my final year. I now work as a Newly Qualified Teacher at a newly constructed Academy in a fairly deprived area of the north of the UK. I still play Sonic, whenever I have time, and have a big poster of him on my door <img src='http://forums.sonicretro.org/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/smile.png' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':)' />
