[size="3"][font="Book Antiqua"]Hello there, how nice of you to visit my profile - this must mean you don't have anything better to do at the moment! Oh you poor soul...

I'm a 25 year old guy from the Netherlands, who has been lurking here on Sonic retro for several years. Well, I actually signed up once, asking Tweaker something about Megamix, but forgot my nick afterwards. The nickname I chose now is so much easier to remember - it means Hedgehog in Dutch.
I have a large Megadrive collection, consisting of about 250 games, nearly all of them are complete. That's roughly half of all PAL games ever released <img src='http://forums.sonicretro.org/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/wink.png' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=';)' /> I've been collecting them since about 4 years now and my collection is steadily growing. Besides my love for Sega, I basically like anything 16-bit, as a I grew up during the era. The Megadrive, and it's leech addons, are by far my favorite. I have many other consoles too.
I've always had a fascination for certain prototypes, especially those of a PC game series called Age of Empires, of which I own quite a bunch. Sonic is no different. I purchased an EverDrive specifically to play the all the Sonic development versions out there. But, of course, there's nothing like owning a proto yourself! I acquired an authentic Sonic Crackers proto cart, which was once owned by Jason Wilson and Nicola from Assemblergames/gamesniped. It's the only cartridge I've seen that has a label with "Sonic Crackers" written on it. Aside from that, I now also own both the super-rare Sonic 2 "Beta pirate carts", which I recently obtained. I totally love them and am a proud owner of these rare pieces of history.
