Hi, I'm Andrea, girl from Sweden in her mid-20s. Been playing Sonic games since the mid-90s and recently fell back in with the series again. Spend most of my days either writing or playing computer games, basically the stuff I grew up on.

First began playing games on my dad's old Amiga 500 and late-80s and early-90s DOS titles. First got in contact with Sonic the Hedgehog when the cartoons made their way over to Sweden as I didn't have a Sega Mega Drive until much later. Would eventually get my hands on Sonic CD and Sonic & Knuckles Collection for PC to be able to play some of the earlier games before winter of 1999 when I first got to play Sonic Adventure on Sega Dreamcast, the first contemporary console that I owned myself.
These days my interest in the series is still alive, but more focused on learning about the development history of the games, be it learning what went wrong with an entry that's considered a disaster or just finding out what things changed during development of a game I love. I'd say that interest is far more universal than it is focused on Sonic stuff, but Sonic games hold a special place in my heart so they sort of become my priority. It was because of this I figured it was about time I signed up for Sonic Retro since I've been reading threads on here for a very long time now and just finished binge-reading five different threads from page 1 to whatever number they ended on.
