I mean at the end of the day, does it really matter what gets shown? Origins or Frontiers, it’s still “the next Sonic game” That’s why we all are here lol (the movie trailer is a sweet bonus). The long wait is almost over and we will all be talking about something
The thing is, fact the reported leaks revealed the name Sonic Rangers and the spincycle move (which seems to be showcased in the reveal trailer) gives great credibility to them. If those parts are true, it's likely the others are too, what with them coming from the same leak.
If we are throwing down predictions, I'm guessing we'll get the tiniest sliver of actual gameplay, with a focus on the cycle move gimmick and maybe 2-3 unique environments shown off.
To me it does. I don't care about another Sonic 1-3K compilation unless they're going to give us Chaotix and SegaSonic Arcade.
They're NEVER giving us SegaSonic. Either they'd have to include a trackball, which I doubt they'd pay for, or completely revamp the controls, in which case it's a radically different game.
Not that it's happening, but it could quite easily be achieved nowadays with touchscreens and the PS's touch pad.
Yep, I was right. Extended CGI trailer. Also, looks super BOTW ripped off. Guess the leaks are feeling pretty trustworthy right now. Also sucks that his model STILL looks like it's based on the Unleashed design. More expressive here at least.
I am hyped! Disappointing that there is no gameplay, but the potential of this thing is very exciting.
