According to this fellow ... "Keiji Okayasu's original Daytona USA tech demo running on a stock Saturn at 480p60, the Tokyo Toy Show 1994 version of Virtua Fighter"... good stuff ! ...
Absolutely sorry for the double post but that tape was indeed shown at the Tokyo Toy Show 1994 ... ...
The FemiSapien : Released in Japan by Sega Toys as E.M.A (Eternal Maiden Actualization) Sega Toys supposedly sold them in Japan as a "toy for adults" (she's a pole dancer ... restrain yourselves )
BSF spotted this Mega PC advert on Twitter: https://twitter.com/CommodoreBlog/status/1185923845502525443 The voiceover is by Chris Barrie, who more people may better know as a certain Arnold Judas Rimmer from Red Dwarf =P
An interesting thing about Ecco the Dolphin shared on Caverns of Hope twitter account: The drawing of the Giant Octupus was extracted from an Hungarian book series called "Búvár zsebkönyvek" Edit: Found ... page 51...
Just found this pic of a green Master System, any clues on what could it be? https://www.instagram.com/p/BxN8JAcFrg-/
According to the OP (segacomics... in the comments): " Check out this unique Sega Master System cover, 1 of only 7 ever made by Sega for the European market. Used at shows and for promotions in the earliest days of Sega Europe. This is being sold by @tonytakoushi the editor and writer of the Official Sega Club magazine from the late 1980s, check out his page https://www.ebay.com.au/itm/Sega-Master-System-sprayed-top-1-of-7-made-by-Sega-/153480044115 "
The description seems pretty clear: This "tonytakoushi" person is the same one who posted the Ristar/Feel concept art.
A cool interview published on September 2019 issue of Old School Gamer Magazine (from page 14 to page 16) with the genius Larry Rosenthal, developer of Space Wars, Founder of Sierra Systems, developer of the Sierra 68000 C Compiler ... which confirms all that we know already... can't speak for you guys... but Asagoth is in extasy ... OH THE JOY... TIME FOR A BEER!!!
Yep... I know... I should be hanged for the double post... anyway... this was originally shared at Obscure Gamers some days ago : Ladies and Gentlemen... SunSeibu Entertaiment's SGX (hsg-0007), an Hotel deck based on Sega Saturn technology : Video of the unboxing (sorry guys... just in Italian) :
I have no idea... according to the comments in the video, some guy known as "MrNec" bought it and his friend (the guy in the video) made the video of the unboxing... he says that only 10 units were made... Edit: I guess "MrNec" is "kisaku" ... the guy who posted this at Obscure Gamers ... and as he replied to someone there... he has no intention to sell it... I don't have an account there... Is anyone here a member of Obscure Gamers? ...
I know some of us do from the AssemblerGames ship-jump. However... what would we be dumping? The bios? The HSS-0119 disc?
