Well shit, what to do... I don't have any of those consoles... I assumed it would come out on the next Nintendo console, which I will buy, but that isn't an option... ARGHG
Just preordered it. I'm so excited (and I get to use my free Prime Student so even with one-day shipping it was only $66.90).
That's just a placeholder date. Anyway, aside from no European release, I'm kinda disappointed that it has a download code instead of a game disc. The statue looks great, but the main reason I wanted a physical release was so I could own the game on a disc.
I use Mac (although I do have paralells), but I don't want to play the game on my computer anyway. Does anyone know if we pre-order, if we can cancel at a later date is needed? I'll buy a used ps4 if I have to...
Yeah, Amazon is pretty good about letting you cancel items. Just as long as it's before the shipping date.
Has there been any confirmation that the download code is for Steam? That's what I was hoping to buy/redeem the game on. (I've put in a preorder regardless, because damn is this a nice-looking Collector's Edition.) Correct me if I'm wrong, but doesn't the default shipping option usually still mean getting a preordered game on release day?
There's been no confirmation, but seeing how Sega always uses Steamworks for their PC games I think it's safe to assume that it will be a Steam download code.
Thankfully Amazon US allows a pre-order from the UK but the shipping puts it up to $109. Hopefully they announce a UK version prior to release but I'm keeping my pre-order intact for now just to show my support.
Can anyone confirm or deny iGamr's statement about default shipping to arrive on release day? My order, in Canada, came to ~$130 with expedited shipping, so I would like to use standard if I'm getting it release day anyway. I don't even have a PS4, so this is getting expensive fast!
I'm almost a bit ashamed at how quickly I jumped on the purchase button on the Amazon page. :v: It looks so much better than most of the recent Classic Sonic art, doesn't it? Here's hoping they finally start to release more art with that airbrush shading again.
