So I found this Sonic Jam Poster on eBay. EDIT: It might not have been clear... I don't own this, this is someone else's bay on eBay. I just found it when searching and wanted to know more about it. It's like 100 dollars, which seems pretty steep. So I figured I'd ask the all knowing Retro what makes this so special? It claims to be rare and NFS (which I assume means "not for sale"). Was this used at trade shows or something? Anyway, I found it kind of interesting. I also thought it would be nice to bring it to your attention, in case anyone here is a moneybags and wants it.
Boy, they sure don't make art for Sonic like that anymore. I'd buy that post for a dollar, or a few. I say you're lucky you bought that when you did.
No idea what makes it special other than being a shop poster of sorts, but it really is pretty cool. But pricey. Man, Sonic Jam so should have been a launch title.
http://info.sonicretro.org/Sonic_Jam#Physical_Scans Well, noone here bought it I guess, so I uploaded a pic of it to the wiki.
I've seen this appear a few times over the past couple of years on eBay UK. I went through a phase of collecting Sonic posters. They always went for around the £20-30 mark and I always missed out on them.
I'll tell you why it costs so much: because it's fan-TAS-tic. Seriously, that poster is pretty sweet.
