Welp, no Banjo then. Unless there's more non-Sega All-stars and they don't want to go the "photoshopped onto the box" route again.
Sonic has decided to stop sharing space with the other characters. Now he appears on the front box art 5 times, while Eggman gets a tiny cameo and Ai-Ai is lost in the distance like Luigi is in the latest Mario Party box art. It'll be interesting to see this at Sonic Boom...
Remove the SEGA part of the name, and that's the real name. I actually got to play this at E3. Looking forward to the actual release. Boat mode has floaty physics, as to be expected. I only tried one stage and it didn't have flying, so I don't know about the plane control. Land handled just like the last game.
For the record, S0L has vehemently denied that Seaside Hill is in the game and that he and the rest of the folk at Sumo didn't see the boxart until SEGA showed it off to the public.
Apparently Wreck-It-Ralph has been confirmed for the game according to people over at the Sega Forums. Was anyone there to confirm this or is there a source?
According to Sonic Stadium's live blog, it's real: http://www.sonicstadium.org/2012/07/sonic-boom-live-blog/#more-27110 A trailer for NiGHTS was also shown.
New renders of dragons made me way more excited than is appropriate for the brevity of their appearances. Imagine a PD game, remake or not, on cutting-edge hardware... [MANLY TEARS]
Wasn't expecting Wreck-It Ralph to appear but that's pretty cool! So any news if Big is going to be in this? Since Iizuka said he was trashing him. EDIT: Not sure if this includes spin-off titles
Found a press release and three screenshots of Wreck it Ralph in all-stars: http://www.comicbooktherapy.com/sdcc-12-press-release-wreck-it-ralph-to-be-a-playable-character-in-sonic-all-stars-racing-transformed-44667 the vehicle even has his pixel art head as a decal, so that's pretty cool. I wonder if Wreck it Ralph will end up making cameos in various games at this rate, would be marketing genius on Disneys front seeing as the plot of the film is about him game hopping. If this is his only game cameo though I hope they market the hell out of the fact.
Considering the plot of the movie, his apearance here actually makes sense, even more if he cameo in other games.
Hmm. This makes me wonder if Sonic & ASR is also in a small portion of the movie. Therefore you would have a genius cross advertising deal here.
Good luck trying to decipher the bulk of the dialogue with the ecstatic cheering! Still, I'm very much happy for Ralph to have gotten into a blockbuster title like the All-Stars Racing game. I wonder if John C. Reilly will provide the role for Ralph here, or if it'll borrow voice clips from the film, or if it'll be another VA...
S0L hinted at that there's one more guest character in the game at SSMB: http://board.sonicstadium.org/topic/12679-sonic-all-stars-racing-transformed/page__st__1480#entry517650
