Hope you like it! A quick tip: Stage Select and Sound Test are in the game, but you don't get to them by codes. You need to get a total of under 5 and 4 minutes respectively on the Special Stage Time Attack to unlock them in the extras menu.
Hey Tax, any idea when the game's coming to Steam? That's the version I plan on getting; no modern consoles here. :<
The date had to be adjusted, but I couldn't tell you what it is sorry (I don't know). Hopefully we'll have a Steam date soon.
Dang. I may just end up being impatient and getting it on iTunes, then. Also, congratulations, Taxman on making this happen! My hat's off to you, sir. Can't wait to give this a go!
K. I don't know what happened here, but I like Sonic CD. What did you do Taxman? I demand an explanation. Did you spike my download? Does I need a tox-screen man?
308.68 MB? How much of that is the music files? I'm assuming the sound quality will be on par with the newly remastered CD? >_>
Oh God, these special stages are still annoying. Wouldn't be Sonic CD without that, though. :v: Really loving the smoothness of this, taking a break for now and unlocking Tails tomorrow. Then I get to the true point of the game, the exploration.
I know Kind Balloon stated that the PC version hasn't been cancelled, but it would have been nice if he'd confirmed whether or not it's at least going to be this year. Wikipedia seesm to think that the PC version is coming out next year, alongside the Windows phone version (probably best not to trust that information though). Ahh well.
Nope, it's still the same as it was before. Which is actually what makes them so annoying. Miss a UFO and you're still generally better off not turning around and just finding another one.
Why did you change the way you get the sound test? ;_; My best is like...7 minutes overall for Special Stages. Why must you work me, sucka? EDIT: Also, DOWNLOADING SO HARD!!! 70% right now.
You know, the instrumental version of the opening isn't that bad. I certainly miss the lyrics but, what was done is OK.
Couple of reasons, first there's no DPad on the iOS version to enter the cheats on the title screen. Second, on consoles standards require that we check that the player's logged in and that they've chosen a location to save their data; the cheats would bypass that. And third, you've gotta work dat sucka to death c'mon now.
Wait...There are cheat codes? I'm writing an achievement guide so I would like to know if there are and if they disable achievements and stuff.
Sure, you cannot get achievements if: - Debug mode is active (going into Time Attack mode will always turn Debug Mode off due to leaderboards) - You use the stage select - You play as Tails
