Yeah, that one, thank you! Turns out the quality wasn't as high as I had thought... Oh well, here's a brighter version, anyway: Spoiler EDIT: Looks like the one we have in the wiki is in better quality.
I'm assuming this will be the game background in the PSN version so I didn't bother cleaning it. I'll just wait for the PSN release to grab it.
Then why should others have to make the effort because some people either can't be bothered or are being stubborn about it D:
Since this has been officially announced, I might as well let you know that Sonic CD Android supports the Xperia Play's slide out gamepad http://www.pocketgamer.co.uk/r/Xperia+Play/Sonic+CD/news.asp?c=35940
Kinda curious if it'd support the similar iControlPad, which works on both iPhones and Androids, but somehow I doubt it. Unless they have an interface that makes it act like an Xperia Play that I'm not aware of (but would love to know about).
The Xperia Play's gamepad is registered as key presses so unofficially, you should be able to use it with a little configuration. It also works with the pack-in bluetooth gamepad at GameStop so there's potentially other gamepads/slide out keyboards that might work with it. (EDIT: Key word is might, I make no guarantees here :P)
So did anyone ever save those videos that got removed a while back? Are they on any other video site?
What, this? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=f_44CTjQjjQ Taxman has excellent taste in music and graphic design, by the way.
Derp. That'll teach me to go back several pages, see the "oh noez videos went daahhwwnn" posts, and not think afterwards to scuttle up a page or two for revivals.
Ah, that's very nice, while my device has no slide-out keyboard/gamepad it is rooted and I can use buttonremapper to switch any of the hardware keys to D-Pad Center (The Xperia Play's X button), that's a blessing since it only supports up to dual-touch gestures. Speaking about Android, since CD will run on the iPhone 3G am I right to assume that it will run on ARMv6 Android devices?
Damn, I was hoping that video wouldn't be found and posted. oh well only a matter of time before SEGA removes it now...
It's been on Youtube since 2009. I wonder if Taxman fixed this: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=U6yootst7Jc&feature=related
Dude! I didn't know you could do that in SCD! That is so rad. Glitches like that are awesome and I hope it wasn't removed.
Did you not read what Vangar said? It's not a case of removing it because this release will most likely not even have it due to it having a completely new game engine. I'm getting the impression that some people think this is an emulated version rather than a remake.
That's because they do. Honestly, I haven't seen any decent marketing from SEGA showing off that this is an enhanced port. Shit, I haven't seen ANY marketing from SEGA.
