I tried entering the values again with the proper format "0800x0450x60" and "0640x0360x60" and got the same unhandled exception notice. Here are the details (spoilered to save space) Spoiler See the end of this message for details on invoking just-in-time (JIT) debugging instead of this dialog box. ************** Exception Text ************** System.NullReferenceException: Object reference not set to an instance of an object. at ATicrt.Form1.SaveRebootButton_Click(Object sender, EventArgs e) at System.Windows.Forms.Control.OnClick(EventArgs e) at System.Windows.Forms.Button.OnMouseUp(MouseEventArgs mevent) at System.Windows.Forms.Control.WmMouseUp(Message& m, MouseButtons button, Int32 clicks) at System.Windows.Forms.Control.WndProc(Message& m) at System.Windows.Forms.ButtonBase.WndProc(Message& m) at System.Windows.Forms.Button.WndProc(Message& m) at System.Windows.Forms.Control.ControlNativeWindow.WndProc(Message& m) at System.Windows.Forms.NativeWindow.Callback(IntPtr hWnd, Int32 msg, IntPtr wparam, IntPtr lparam) ************** Loaded Assemblies ************** mscorlib Assembly Version: 2.0.0.0 Win32 Version: 2.0.50727.5448 (Win7SP1GDR.050727-5400) CodeBase: file:///C:/Windows/Microsoft.NET/Framework64/v2.0.50727/mscorlib.dll ---------------------------------------- ATicrt Assembly Version: 1.0.2.0 Win32 Version: 1.0.2.0 CodeBase: file:///C:/Users/David/Downloads/ATicrt1.02/ATicrt/ATicrt.exe ---------------------------------------- System.Windows.Forms Assembly Version: 2.0.0.0 Win32 Version: 2.0.50727.5446 (Win7SP1GDR.050727-5400) CodeBase: file:///C:/windows/assembly/GAC_MSIL/System.Windows.Forms/2.0.0.0__b77a5c561934e089/System.Windows.Forms.dll ---------------------------------------- System Assembly Version: 2.0.0.0 Win32 Version: 2.0.50727.5447 (Win7SP1GDR.050727-5400) CodeBase: file:///C:/windows/assembly/GAC_MSIL/System/2.0.0.0__b77a5c561934e089/System.dll ---------------------------------------- System.Drawing Assembly Version: 2.0.0.0 Win32 Version: 2.0.50727.5420 (Win7SP1.050727-5400) CodeBase: file:///C:/windows/assembly/GAC_MSIL/System.Drawing/2.0.0.0__b03f5f7f11d50a3a/System.Drawing.dll ---------------------------------------- ************** JIT Debugging ************** To enable just-in-time (JIT) debugging, the .config file for this application or computer (machine.config) must have the jitDebugging value set in the system.windows.forms section. Oh, duh I should have noticed that.
Oh god, that actually put a smile on my face - if partially because of the absurdity of it. Holding right to win is for pussies. :v: Oh, whoops.Tthat was in response to the vid.
It seems there is a way to trick the timer in Generations PS3. This could be problematic if exploited. It's not exactly a fast method, but I wonder if there is a way to patch it.
That bug might happen in the PC version as well since bringing up the overlay or minimizing the game causes it to pause. Welp, goodbye leaderboards
This hurt my brain. I will take solace by having as many foolish people click on this and share is the headdesk-ery.
I watched the entire playthrough they did of the game (they stopped after City Escape). They were so awful at the game that they were hilarious to watch and that scene was definitely one of the most memorable moments. The guy ragequit a couple of missions.
The PC version is getting raped by even more exploits than this one, seriously, 0:00:01 in leaderboards. This one looks like it can take forever (even though the user said it took him about 4 minutes or so). But really, is getting a good time that important to resort to this?
This is why I like games that take input logs. Like Mario Kart Wii! They let you watch replays of the top 10-or-so times, so you know you have a winner when someone just doesn't move out of the gate, it's hilarious.
I watched the whole thing too. The chat comments when he ragequit the balloon mission were awesome. Another moment I liked was City Escape Classic, where he was happily surprised to hear the music was different when it loaded, and then got angry when the vocals kicked in.
I don't blame him. Those vocals are terrible. The song was honestly better off overall as an instrumental.
Ya I was just going to say. Anyone know what this patch does? Speed Highway Modern seems to have less slowdown EDIT: On second thought I have no idea. Someone care to dissect the patches contents?
I imagine it's either optimizations of some sort or setting up for future DLC expansions. The only one out right now is already on the disc. There are tons of places on the map to sneak in more missions (90% chance) and then there's a large empty area between Planet Wisp and Time Eater's area that *COULD* fit a new stage. Never mind that files in the game indicate an extra area's music is missing. The entire second half is baseless speculation, but the missions part is almost certain to happen.
I'm really hoping for more levels, not missions. The missions are just slight alterations of the main levels. Even Sonic Unleashed had different acts per area. However I bet we can discover something from this patch, since it's likely DLC prep. Also given the nature of this game, NOT adding new levels would be a wasted opportunity. Sonic 3 and others should have some love.
Many people at the SEGA forum asked for Ice Cap to make it in as a DLC (with Sonic 3 as a base for the Classic act and Sonic Adventure for the Modern act). Besides posting in here, I'd suggest voicing what would you want as possible DLC in their forum.
^Interesting, yet I doubt that's the cause of the patch. #curious I got banned from Sega boards years ago for trolling.
