Sonic Generations Megathread

The 3DS version should have C.Knuckles instead of C.Metal, and Blaze instead of Silver.

 

But he is still a water monster. In the video only part of his body is covered by the armor. However, I too would find it interesting if he was originally supposed to look like this.

 

This. Knuckles was a big part of Classic Sonic's history, and I'm disappointed Classic Knuckles isn't [as far as we know] getting any love. To be honest, I'm sick of seeing Metal Sonic, and I would've much preferred a rival battle against Classic Knuckles.

Anyway, the boss trailer has got me hyped, and I'm diggin' the new look of Perfect Chaos. That first glimpse we got of him didn't do him any justice.

Can't believe I can say this now but it can be fixed by fans in the PC version.

It's legit. I got Deus Ex: Human Revolution from there. They usually have some pretty good pre-order deals.

By the way, am I the only one here that hates SEGA's marketing for Sonic games? They always unveil almost everything the game has before it releases, meaning there are no surprises left besides the final boss.

 

Perfect Chaos looks like shit.

Everything else looked awesome though.

 

So, despite the fact that this boss line-up is awesome, anyone else a little miffed about the absence of the Genesis end-level boss battles from the line-up? It's obvious they put a lot of effort into making this a stellar line-up of foes, but the end-level Robotnik mechs were a big part of the Genesis games, I feel like they should get some sort of representation.

 

That must've been what Sonic 4 was for.

 

So Modern Sonic gets 4 bosses and Classic gets 2?

While this would have upset the whole Modern/Classic era thing, I think they should have made classic Knuckles a rival and got rid of Silver. Or keep Silver fuck it they just should have had classic Knuckles. I mean Classic Sonic deserves more then 2 boss fights.

Also maybe I am out of the loop, but why is Sonic's mouth coming out of his cheek? I paused at 0:49 in the new trailer and both Sonics are like it. It looks sort of ridiculous, especially considering that both Tails have normal centre mouths.

 

Agreed. Was looking forward to him the most so it's kinda a let down.

That was probably the best trailer yet, besides that. I really loved that song playing during. I hope someone can get their hands on it.
