Stuff in the real world that reminds you of sonic

I remember IceKnight's post back on the Area51 ezboard where he posted pictures of Chao eggs from his vaccation. That was epic.

Dear lord, someone aknowledging our existence? Never. They never looked at Portugal, the closest thing you have is High Europe which is based on Spain.

I have a friend from Portugal. She said should could remember this market stall where a guy was selling pirated games, with a small display devoted especially to Sonic. It's strange, but I'm always reminded of pirated Sonic MD games now whenever I meet a Portuguese person.

 

I love how the Sonic restaurant logo has a nearly identical font to the logo from the games.

 

That looks identical to apotos from unleashed. =P

I live close to a place called Greenhill Park. I would have pics, but I haven't been there in about a year.

 

In Birmingham, near where my sister lives, there's a restaurant called Ocean Palace. A little less common than Green Hill.

 

Saw some Car Number plates here in England with the last 3 characters which instantly makes me think of Sonic...

SBZ (Someone I know has this on the end of their plate and their car is grey )

The list goes on!! I must have seen about 5 of these reg plates on my journey home the other week!

 

I've seen a fari few number plates with GHZ on them XD A couple with EMO too but that's not to do with the topic =P

On a similar note to that, the "ViewSonic" monitor brand, which, on a site like this, allows me to do exactly that.

 

I once saw a truck with a logo that had a hedgehog with 4 wheels and went fast.

 

This commercial thing currently plays in the local Cinemark theater before each movie starts.

Although this is niether "stuff in real-world" nor "Sonic References in other series", but I was looking through a retro magazine, and I noticed this character's face reminded me of Snively:



Obviously this is a generic 'witches' face (I realise that now), so I was wondering if there are any better examples someone could show us that matches Snively better?

 

Same. Little Chinese place on the same road as my college.

 

Thanks to Snively, now any figure shown with such a witch's nose reminds me of him.

Can't believe I forgot I had this one. I went to Europe two summers ago and I took this photo overlooking Heidelberg, Germany.

Looks a shit-ton like Spagonia.

The audio files in the game are actually named with the prefix "MYK," just like how Spagonia files have the prefix "EUR" (Europe).
