Now if only there were arcades close to where I live. from: http://www.seganerds.com/2009/09/25/sega-r...rtwork-spotted/
You made a collage? lol Considering that GameWorks is owned by Sega it should pretty much be in the books for them.
That's because unless the suits change their minds (like they did with VF5 in the first place), it's not coming out in US or European arcades, unfortunately.
Holy shit, if this is some sort of mixture of realistic SEGA Racing IPs, I will be so happy. Or if it's just another Daytona, I will also be happy.
Hmm, so that explains it. Guess I'll have to settle for VF4. On-topic, another Dsytona would be awesome. I really need to get the original on Saturn.
http://www.seganerds.com/2009/11/03/sega-r...ameplay-videos/ Although to be honest, I swear I hear classic Daytona music in the background amidst all the crowd noises. We won't know until we get a video WITHOUT said crowd noises, really.
From what I've read, the only ommision in the soundtrack is the DAYTONAA word, which has been replaced by guitar riffs.
The name reminds me of how I always think Sega should just bring out a massive Sega Racing Classics compilation, with all their racers from the 80's and 90's. Think about it....... OutRun, Turbo OutRun, OutRunners, Virtua Racing, Daytona 1+2, Scud Race, Sega Rally 1+2, Manx TT, Power Drift, Rad Mobile, Rad Rally, Racing Hero, Hang-On, Super Hang-On, Hang-On Jr, Monaco GP, Super Monaco GP, F1 Exhaust Note, F1 Super Lap, GP Rider, Hot Rod et al, all in one convenient "retro" bundle for your PC/360/PS3/whatever. I'd buy it at the drop of a hat. I don't know how much it would cost Sega to reacquire the Daytona license, but fuck....... this HAS to happen.
