Over on the sidebar to the left. Now you can aim for something other than postcount. It's updated automatically with every edit. If, for some reason, yours is not showing up, an edit on the Wiki will update it. If it doesn't, let me know so I can fix it.
You should add tha counter in our profiles, below the postcount. The number of wiki contribution is not placed anywhere in the profile.
Actually, it is: Not quite the position you mentioned, but adding that in would be another hack Though I did just change the profile field to read "Wiki edits" to be a bit more specific.
Nice, something I've been expecting for a while, I was going to suggest it anyway but I couldn't be bothered. =P
It's a nice idea. Hopefully that will encourage more users to add content to the vastly expanding Wiki.
I thought I mentioned it somewhere, but I find the weighted score to be a bit silly. Of course, if Tweaker/SS wanted it put it, I'd do it... but edit count was easier to get working.
I think the score thing is hard to figure out myself, edit count is something everyone can understand though. How about changing the "edits" to Wiki Edits instead, so people won't think it's edits of their post or something. This is an excellent idea anyway.
Agreed. I was thinking earlier about suggesting "Forum Posts"/"Wiki Edits", but that's kind of fgtty.
Why does the system say that Simon has made one edit, and when I click on "contribs" it says nothing?
It's entirely possible that, at one point, somebody made a Wiki account named Simon and it was just picking up that account's edits. Honestly I have no idea, the code I used to mass-update that shit is long gone.
I got a question, are wiki edits that are inaccurate or slanderous in nature allowed on wiki pages for Sceners? If there's no proof, is it allowed? I'm just wondering before I put something on my page. It could be considered "slanderous"
That sounds a lot to me like "can I cause bullshit for the sake of causing bullshit"? No. It's an encyclopedia. It's for facts.
