I think at this point.. I only look forward to Sonic games just to see the fanbases reaction. Its so god damn lol

 

Sonic doesn't need a fucking sword... he just doesn't. I'd bring Yuji Naka back if he'd stop this monstrosity.

 

Hey now, if the game was pulled off RIGHT, you know it'd be great. Problem is, Sonic Team is impaired at pulling anything off right. As much as I like Shadow the Hedgehog, they really could've done better.

I've got to say, constant sword swinging doesn't sound like my idea of a Sonic game. Even werehog seems closer than this.

 

I guess the next game in the series will be Sonic and the Catholic Church?

 

Hey, does anyone else think they might be a brilliant marketing ploy?

Think about it. Release two "main" title at once, both with extremely controversial concepts, and one significantly more ridiculous than the other. After the initial negative reaction (Unleashed + Werehog), they reveal a new game that is downright ridiculous, shifting all the negativity onto it and making the former game look much more appealing, resulting in more favorable reviews purely by relative association.

While everyone else in the universe has already doomed this game to failure, I really want to see how it turns out

 

Knowing the way of the universe it will be claimed the best Sonic game of all time... just to anger us more.

 

I'll admit that it is starting to sound pretty cool with all that was stated on that website. The only thing I dislike is the fact that the game looks too uninspired in its current stage - it's like they just took some random rustic painting and slapped Sonic in. Hopefully we'll see some whimsical backgrounds with corkscrews, loop-de-loops, more original-looking enemies, and the like in the near future.

 

I don't think you'll see more sonic-esque things in this game. It's set in a time where Sonic is a foreigner. This is Sonic in the Medieval ages. Not Medieval elements in a Sonic World.

 

While that's a good point GHNeko... I'm STILL glad I don't buy Sonic games anymore
