It's really low res so you can't make out much but the style of the 2D art reminds me of the cutscenes from the storybook games, which is pretty cool. The DLC is probably just gonna be some bullshit in the style of Origins though.

wow that new illustration is pretty cool. ngl, seeing all the characters together like that is nice and kinda makes me a bit sad that Sonic is still the only playable character again
I really wish I could be there this year, but silly me spent all my wages on Sonic Origins and the NSO Expansion Pack and has no money left. But of course I'm still excited for more Sonic Frontiers content!

How much you wanna bet when Sega start using these guys in the next games, people will hate them as much as the Wisps.
The problem with Wisps imo is that they made perfect sense for the lore of Colors and the powerups explained why they couldn't just be Chao... but then the next few games felt like you only had powerups because they needed to fit the Wisps in there somehow. And I honestly never found the powerups any fun... hopefully Kocos are just little collectible creatures that dance around, and they don't become the next Sonic Minions with SEGA going "oh you remember the Wisps! Everybody loves Wisps!". It's like that one uncle who always gets you presents you don't really like that much, but you always say you like it so he never gets the message and keeps getting you stuff you don't like.
It seens the Sonic Frontiers trailer was revealed at the Japanese cinemas in the Sonic 2 Movie section.
It showcases SAGE's voice, her japanese one anyway, and the vocal theme has a singer that apparently sounds VERY similar to NateWantsToBattle. There's no footage, but I would die if that were the case
This makes me hopeful that we’ll FINALLY get some story details next week. On the other hand I’m also concerned about the length of the gamescom trailer after this comment: the Japanese trailer’s brevity is probably due to it being a teaser before a movie. Hopefully the gamescom trailer will be longer… or at the very least hopefully sega will allow attendees to record footage of the demo That 3rd option’s gonna upset the folks who’re “in love with the Koco.”
Frontiers trailer shown on TV Tokyo pretty hype trailer tbh, I love the opening shot of Sonic's POV. Reminds me of the intro for Adventure.
