Yeah so people who shall not be named have an interesting article up on their site. can't say much more due to rules but you know where to go and look.

Yeah where the fuck is Penders? hes been real silent about this. shouldn't he and his annoying ass posse be holding victory speeches and having parades in the street by now?

Thats what makes me think this isn't all as it seems. they may be gone, but are they REALLY gone?!

 

In that case, he just made Sally look really awkward and out of place.

 

Penders said a while ago that his lawyers advised him to stop discussing the case in public, probably since he wasn't exactly helping himself by talking and giving people ammo to use against him in it. And even then, there's also the fact that a settlement is a win for everyone, and that it's not even finalized yet. Also, are we really going back to insulting people just for being on Penders' side? Come on, now. Not every Ken fan is a jerk, even if one or two are. There're actually some pretty reasonable Ken fans who just happen to like his work.

 

Probably because for everyone else he has official renders he can study the shading from.

 

Nah I was talking about his little butt monkeys that defend him no matter what. I know theres people over at his forum that have sanity in their heads.

Yeah so Ian bumped his Journal. took out the Sally part and added something new.

 

I personally doubt that, I mean some people questioned Sally's fate up until the new redesign was revealed after all. Maybe things aren't what Ian and co. originally planned for this story arc but that doesn't mean that this won't lead to better opportunities in the comic overall. Hell this could lead to a story arc of Knuckles trying to find everyone in the future, or even joining Team Fighters, so who knows! But I think a lot of people are blowing this WAY out of proportion, the fans over at bumbleking make it sound like the apocalypse happened.

I'm just curious on what's become of Penders' Lara-Su Chronicles and his plans to release Knuckles X Years Later as he stated months ago, hilarious art aside, could it be possible that the settlement ment that Penders stuck a deal with Archie so that they can use the characters while Penders works on these projects? Looks like we'll just have to wait and see.

 

Don't you think that's a bit too convoluted? I mean if that does happen I'll laugh because that's hilarious. I can see a Sonic Universe in the future showing just where Julie-Su and Saffron are though, but that's way in the future. Honestly that whole legal crap could have been avoided if only Penders just pitched the Lara-Su story and the release of Knuckles X Years Later for the fans, that way we could have avoided this whole mess, but what's done is done I suppose. Maybe that's the settlement agreement, Penders gets the rights for the characters, credit, or permission from Archie to do his projects while Archie and Co. get to use the echidna characters he made later on after his stuff is done or permission from him to use those characters, this is all my assumption considering this whole mess on how it ended.

 

Maybe we should talk about happier things, such as some new covers, including of some reprint collections that I thought might've been put on hold because of Penders, but apparently aren't. That's good, isn't it?

Does that make up for Volume 1's cover?

 

I'd say so, I thought Best of Volume 1 had a pretty cool cover but this one just looks downright awesome! The other covers look good as well with Archives 21 looking like a mix of Modern and Classic Sonic Styles.

 

I wonder why they changed Tails' facial expression. His original expression was just fine.

 

God damnit Dark Sonic, I choked on my soda because I busted up laughing. now its all in my nose.

I was bemoaning the classic designs going away for the archive series, but cover #21 is seriously pretty awesome.

More awesome is that crossover cover. Haha, holy shit.

 

...I REALLY should have saw something like that coming, but I was still caught off guard.
