This games looking really awsome, the first game was a good contender for Mariokart, but it's really looking like its gonna be dethrowned properly after this game comes out, We'll have to see what Mario Kart U can offer when it enevatably comes out.

As advertised at the end of the trailer, went to amazon and got the special edition pre-ordered XD

 

I'm still waiting to see what the platform exclusive features are before I pre-order the game. I'm most likely going to get the PC version though.

 

At 41 seconds what was that stage there? It looked like Adabat, but I can't remember any other Sega games that have that setting?

 

That would be the Shinobi track. The House of the Dead track also appears, it looks to be a return of Deadly Route from the first game.

We're about month from launch, and there hasn't been any concrete information about the All-Star moves, save for how there's a coin system for them outside of the item system. Anybody else a bit concerned about this?

Cheer up. Should the game do well, there's precedent that the flagman from the previous game gets a kart the next game! :v:

I'm pretty miffed too. I can just keep on imagining that Ristar's All Star move: slamming himself into karts with his face. Still, seeing Ristar as not a sprite or statue will be nice.

Interesting starting roster. A lot of previously unlockable characters are there from the start, where as others who used to be there from the start are now unlockable. Also no idea why the characters are spaced the way they are, seems kind of random. You think they would do it by series.
