Yeah the non-grass tiles do look good but from the screen shots I thought they might be everywhere. O_o

What engine is this using? Or did you build one your self?

It uses The Sonic Worlds Delta Engine, programed in Multimedia Fusion 2 standard and HWA versions.

I Hate to bump with out an update. But I do have a rather shaky question to ask.

May I have Permission to use any of the leftover resources made for Project: Sonic Retro? I really don't expect a positive answer, But I will say, I'm really impressed to see how much effort was put into it wile it was active.

I think you'd have to ask the creators individually, but if you don't probably most people will be fine with it, so long as they're not already using it for their own projects.

Very True. But are they still around at all? I'm trying to keep from asking a thousand questions about said project. But I really want to make the best out of my own.

And scratch the no update. I have a sample made here, it isn't much but, I was thinking of some song through Genesis synth. I don't know what stage it will be suited with yet.

Problem is that anything you do want to use has no doubt been edited and modified by more than one person, even then the original sprite itself was most likely based off concept art done by someone entirely different.
Personaly I would refrain from using any of it, but if you insist on trying then your best bet is to find the stuff you like and contact the member directly. If they're anything like me than they probably have back-ups of all the sprites that are 100% their own.

Well, Reason why I asked is because I want to use some different monitor graphics at the least. I'm trying my best to keep the theme from looking too much like an ordinary worlds clone.

If you're talking about the first vision of the project, you'll have to talk to either Jayxtee, Phoebius, Mobiethian or Rika Chou.

Well, I can say it won't be much of an issue now. Thanks to sparks and Xeric, I have what I've been searching for, at least for now.

I know some things haven't changed much yet. But the Main Level layout is in the works now. There are no Ideas for original badnicks yet, so I'm wondering if anyone has any suggestions or resources to help come up with some simple Beach Themed badnicks.

Don't ask me, otherwise you will end up with crabs attacking with beach umbrellas. :v:

Minus the beach umbrellas, surely another crab-based badnik is PERFECT for a beach theme? Crabmeat 2.0

Shellshocker: A hermit crab that behave like Crabmeat (walks from side to side and occaisionally stops to attack), but when it stops it hides in it's shell and becomes charged with electricity.

    Otter badniks are new.

Why haven't we seen otter badniks yet? Bomb that looks like a clam shell? Perfect.

Only designs I'm not fond off are the Crab Meat 2.0 and the Puffer Fighter. The others are great.

Crab Meat because, well, it's Crab Meat.

Puffer Fighter just doesn't have the same personality as the other two. It looks more like a Mega Man X enemy than a Sonic one.

Only one act of pure awesomeness. I loved it, just LOVED. Except for the loudest music. I hope to see the finished work soon. Congratulations for this!
This is fantastic. And this is all I have to say.
