Do you think Sega would be too quick to fuck up such an obvious money making idea?

 

They would lose a FUCKLOAD of money if they put Shadow or Silver in this. Why? Because for the past 6 months (thanks to the teaser) the buzz has mostly been generated among the classic fanbase (who for the most part hate all the new generation characters). If this had been marketed as another anime hold-right-to-win shitfest like "Sonic Adwank 4" or "Sonic Thrushcheese Adventure Whoa Xtreme", then putting those 2 fucktards in the game wouldn't have been a problem.

For what we've been told though about Needlemouse it would be a serious dick move to put Shadow in, let alone Silver. A dick move that will cost them dearly.

 

Oh, I'm no fan myself of the characters myself. I also said that Silver wouldn't make it.

But I expect dick moves, it seems to be a certain committee's formula for supposed success. We've already had too many broken hopes in the past.

 

They can always include them as add-ons. Problem solved.

 

No chance.

I'd wager that there are considerably more 13-year-old, ADHD-addled, "OMG Shadow is teh kewl" Sonic fans that would be put off by the black dude's exclusion than there are fervant mono-hedgehogists who would be put off by Shadow's inclusion.

My sentiments exactly. I'm not that surprised that Charmy and Vector were crossed off the list, but the fact that they were rejected before Big and Froggy, of all characters, really sickens me.

 

Why did I just suddenly get an image of everyone being crossed out except for Big and Froggy?

 

Because it's been mentioned as a possibility earlier in the thread?

 

But they are trying to make a small scale game this time, meaning it won't be aimed at the larger fanbase.

 

Needlemouse may be aimed at classic fans, but that doesn't mean only classic fans will buy it. If it actually turns out to be a decent game in general, it'll mean more sales regardless.

 

But their aim for the game is the point. If their AIM is to please the classic fans, Shadow and such wont be included. If it turns out to be a great success, I wouldn't be surprised to see some post MD characters appearing as DLC.

 

I really wouldn't be surprised to see Shadow in this, and I'm really hoping we don't.

 

I dunno. Sonic Unleashed seems to have done pretty well without Shadow. (Then again, that game did have its own badass hedgehoggy creature-of-darkness that the kids seem to love.)

Man, fuck the children. Seriously, the fan base is a laughing stock because of their asinine tastes. They'll eat up whatever the fuck SEGA dishes out to them and create clubs and fan bases around that new individual piece of shit addition to the franchise.

Ok, call me juvenile and immature but I fucking laughed.

 

It's simple, kids have no taste. Especially when there isn't anything better to counter it.

 

Shame Vector isn't going to make it, so much for a Chaotix 2D return. :v:
