Sonic Dream Team (New 3D Game from Hardlight, coming to Apple Arcade December 5)

I’ll take all the new content in Dream Team over the SXSG Movie DLC. Both of them are great. Hardlight just has some guys that can cook! I didn’t expect all of this. I was surprised. They even changed the intro level. Sheesh!

 

What's the point of saying this other than to be inflammatory? Do you want to understand why people hold opinions different from you, or not?

Different individual people have different opinions.

While watching the video, I had to wonder why they didn't give it gyro aiming. Seems like it'd be a great application for it in a mobile game, and would be more precise than using a touchscreen.

 

That was one of my first thoughts too it even feels like it’s designed for that too but it’s hard to describe why, something about the way the camera and Shadow is locked to the reticle movement without any swaying.

 

If we never get the Mania team or Arzest again, I would not be opposed to Sega Hardlight having a crack at a 2D Sonic game.

 

I'm keen to see a new 2D game from Evening Star, Headcannon and everyone else that worked on Mania, and I think Arzest could deliver another enjoyable title too. But Hardlight are definitely the "ones to watch". They seem to be pretty damn capable. If SEGA shifts their mobile and F2P focused endeavours to Rovio and shit like Roblox, Hardlight might have a chance to shine developing shit that actually matters. Dream Team and all of their SEGA ports have been actually decent.

 

A new update was revealed, with new levels for Shadow. It's coming out on March 20.

Itching to play this again but I don't want to renew my Apple Arcade account. Especially since Turles Splintered Fate and Hello Kitty Island Adventure left Apple exclusivity.

 

Worth renewing for new Katamari imo -basically a brand new full game-

and space invader infinite gene, also new puyo puyo is neat

 

do they have some kind of internal mandate where male Sonic characters aren't allowed to wear pants or something? They're always going Donald Duck mode

Hmm, I think someone needs to look up what “brand-new” actually means, because I’m pretty sure all of these costumes debuted in Dash or Farces years ago

 

Yeah im nearly positive ive seen all of these in either forces speed battle or in speed simulator (realistically probably both)
