Ah this. I've known about this for several years. Still a cool little oddity in the Sonic multiverse.
  2. In Topic: Anyone else think Big was originally going to go to Lost World?

I'd need to play the stage again to be certain, but in Sonic's Lost World, after the mirror lighting, and right before the boulder chase, isn't there a quick run by of an area filled with water after Sonic goes sliding down a waterfall? Maybe that could be something? Just a thought.

Where is that sweet Hydrocity remix from? It's beyond awesome.
  4. In Topic: Sonic Cosmo Fighter gameplay footage

Listening to the footage, from what I can make out in this Sonic seems to be voiced by Takeshi Kusao, just as he was in SegaSonic the Hedgehog. I'm guessing they must have hired him to do voicework on these two as well as Patrolcar most likely. Interesting. :3
  5. In Topic: Sonic the Comic to be republished

    09 December 2011 - 12:37 PM

Well despite the uncertain nature of the situation, if this turns out to be true, I'll be greatly pleased. Having lived in the US my whole life, I grew up with Archie Sonic, having only heard hushed whispers about the comic our friends across the pond were enjoying. Once I finally discovered the wonders of the internet, my hunger for this comic only grew as I found scans of panels and a few assorted pages here and there. Eventually (through certain means), I was able to read the entire series online, and let me tell you, it was an experience. I've come to love the Fleetway universe as much as any Sonic, almost like a 2nd home right beside Archie. If this is true, I'd more then gladly put down money for the series so I can finally own a legit copy of what I've come to love. Hold out hope brothers and sister. This could be the big one. <3
