Posts I've Made
Today, 04:43 PMI guess I'm in the small minority in not being too keen about this. I always felt the difficulty was part of the game's charm. This might have to do with the fact that I actually beat it a few times though. Still, I felt that the unlimited lives and the password system more than made up the incredibly difficult levels.
On the other hand, I guess this is kind of a good thing since it will help expose more people to the game.

29 May 2013 - 10:19 AMI think I fucked up my save file.
I went to NO SAVE, enabled the 7th Emerald, and got a Game Over. Then I went back to my Tails file and collected emeralds 3 through 6. In the 7th special stage, I hit a GOAL, so I killed the app. Apparently it's not programmed to recognize a save location there, because while the app boots up perfectly, it crashes every time the save menu tries to load.
I encountered the same issue and had to nuke my save file as a result.
This was the Android version btw.
Maybe the iOS version is the one that loads the save file with the "Settings" text while the Android version just outright crashes instead?
21 May 2013 - 10:49 AMPlaying the Android version on PC via Bluestacks, and this is the issues thus far:
- Debug mode is inaccessible without a touchscreen monitor (the S,E,G,A part works fine, I haven't been able to perform the second requirement, however).
Assuming bluestacks handles input the same way my wiimote interpreter does, then the cheats for the original game will work as well. Just use 3 in place of C.
17 May 2013 - 11:37 PMOne thing that isn't exactly a bug but is most likely a huge oversight; If you beat the game with debug mode active it doesn't deactivate when you go to time attack mode. The brokenness of this is obvious.
The Green Hill time is legit. Marble Zone on the other hand...
EDIT: Turns out that you don't even have to beat the game. Just activate debug, enter a level, exit, and then go to time attack mode.
