    Well, at least I had the right idea. Not the right prediction, but I figured that the perfect bonus had to have been implemented outside of special stages for a reason. :v:

    Can you only spawn Sonics?

    I'm, like, 80% sure that getting the perfect bonus in EHZ is how you unlock whatever secrets are left (presumably a part of Hill Top Zone). After 6 tries (I haven't played Sonic 2 in ages, I don't know where everything is!) I finally got perfect on act 1, but I haven't gotten act 2 yet. Someone follow up on this, please!

    Well, that ruins that theory. It was a shot in the dark at best, by my own admission.

    Here's hoping SEGA catches wind of this and fixes it on their end instead, I suppose.

    I got my copy from GreenmanGaming and I have had literally no issues with the game, besides the shop lag. I haven't had one crash, freeze, FPS drop, Online issue, or anything. And I've beaten the game, missions and all.
