26 November 2005 - 05:33 PMDoes anyone have any documentation, or know any sites (that aren't down right now) that could help me disable the damn rotating palette for Casino Night zone? Or even just the location of whatever it is that enables the rotating palette?
I've looked around for a while now, and can't find it for the life of me.
11 August 2005 - 03:57 PMOkay, I've been lurking around this forum for a year or so on and off, picking up basic knowledge every so often, and recently I've been in a huge spot of boredom and decided to go all out and make a decent hack.
So far I've changed a lot of sprites, and worked my way around editing compressed artwork, which I'm rather proud of myself for, even if it's something small.
Anyway, I digress. I recently brought over HPZ from S2B (Without touching OOZ *proud*), and I now need to add badniks. I don't want to bring in the dinobot, but the batbot would be nice, but not necessary, as I want to use the Seahorse from OOZ, The Crab badnik from MZ, and the Shark badnik from ARZ, now I haven't a clue about how to do this. Like, no idea whatsoever, so it'd be nice if anyone could point me in the right direction, tell me how to do it, or shove me towards a tutorial or somesuch.
Edit: I've been looking around the net, and from what I've read, all I have to do is something to do with pattern load cues? Is this correct? If it is, any help in that direction would be nice.
02 August 2004 - 05:05 PMI was kind of reluctant to ask this, being a turd, and what with the "Are you a kiddie turd?" Forum 'n' all, but what the hell eh? Moving on.
Me and my friend from school are working on a Sonic 2 hack (well, we're not doing any REAL hacking per-se, just using level editors and such), and we've been trying to find a Sonic 2 rom (final) with the HPZ and tiles etc included, I've messed around with various editors and managed to get HPZ into Sonic 2 final, but I'm having problems with walking/navigating around the levels, the collision detection seems to be wrong for the tiles or something. Any help would be greatly appreciated, porting the tiles/level into our rom/helping us with how to do it would be greatly appreciated, but supplying a clean rom with the HPZ included would also be good.
Sorry if I sound awfully noobish, but if you don't ask, you don't find out. :P
