Sonic 2 Bounce Combo vid
29 August 2012 - 11:44 PM
I remember seeing a video here a while back that demonstrated a long chain of bounces off of badniks and monitors, in Emerald Hill. Can't seem to find it when I search youtube though.
Anyone have a link to it? -
Inspiration of Chao's physical appearance?
13 March 2011 - 03:45 PM
Has it ever been said what Chao (if anything) were physically based on? I know their concept is based on the Nightopian thing from NiGHTS. Maybe its just me, but they bear an eerie resemblance to Final Fantasy's Mog/Moogle creatures.

Sonic 2 on XBox Live
24 August 2010 - 01:50 AM
Stupid question to ask here I know, but I'm curious to know who has it and when/how often they play it online.
Basically, I need some people to play against.
After trying to find matches all day I managed to find one. That's it. Sort of disappointing, as I love me some Vs. mode in that game. Unfortunately none of my RL friends bother to play it with me because its not a grimdark shootan gaem.

Anyone else know you could do this? I just accidentally figured it out. Considering there are plenty of hackers here I assume this is well known. -
New way to play Sonic Unleashed
20 November 2009 - 12:37 AM
I don't know if anyone else does this, bu every once in a while I try to play Sonic Unleashed in a way as close to the Genesis games as possible. I personally finding myself enjoying the game much more when I play this way.
I avoid boost pads at all costs, only using the homing attack, light dash, and boost when they are necessary to progress through the level.
I take the routes with the most enemies, killing them only by jumping on them or sliding into them.
The slide functions nearly the same as rolling did. It is a basic way to attack enemies, and you gain momentum when using it while going down steep hills.
This way of playing is quite confusing at first, what with the camera, awkward jumping, and accidental drifting while trying to slide (on the Wii version), but can be pretty fun when you get the hang of it.
Anybody else do this?
