Posts I've Made
07 July 2012 - 07:41 PMAs happy as I am that NiGHTS and Reala made it in, I wish they would represent NiGHTS into Dreams more as opposed to NiGHTS Journey of Dreams. It's the same way Nintendo keeps representing Yoshi's Story instead of Yoshi's Island in their Smash Bros. games. I would also prefer it if Claris piloted NiGHTS while Elliot piloted Reala since I'm an "into Dreams" purist like that. But I am happy to see NiGHTS get any representation at all after that huge fuss about the first All-Stars Racing game.
Well, it's the best of both worlds really. The stage is pretty much entirely "into Dreams", with Spring Valley, Gillwings Lair and the Wizeman fight (though from the brief screen of the later it could well be JoD Wizeman).
12 February 2012 - 11:51 AMAny word on whether or not the new toys they showed were from the sequel? Character reveals?
15 December 2011 - 01:16 PMJust popping in to say this is an amazing port, and something I hope SEGA pays attention to in future. This is the way to please a fanbase.
Bought it straight away on 360 yesterday, then today bought it on iOS for £1.49. They've really nailed the price points on this. Fantastic.
SO fantastic in fact, I've already gifted the iOS version to 5 of my friends. It's christmas time after all! Also, I got an email today saying I've won in the Sonic CD art competition. I thought all the winners had already been contacted? Glad I held off on posting my art somewhere. Now I'll have another copy to gift someone!
17 October 2010 - 03:50 PMI can totally hear elements of the NiGHTS track "Gloom of the NHC" in the music for that act (around 1:10). Anyone else?
05 September 2010 - 10:23 PMSEGA are being lazy as shit when it comes to these. Porting over so called "Dreamcast" games, when in actual fact theyre just porting PC code over from the PC releases of SA and Crazy Taxi (which is why Crazy Taxi is in 16:9). The only other first party Dreamcast game released on the PC was The House of the Dead 2, so you can guarantee that will be released next.
However, what are they going to do after that? Actually work on porting over cult classics? Or can the idea altogether?
(Actually, wasn't there banners found for Space Channel 5 as well? Is that just because that got a PS2 release?)
Jof hasn't added any friends yet.
