So I just picked up Streets of Rage 2 3D the other day. Thankfully the 3D treatment here was a welcome addition since it looks quite nice, especially durning sequences with the alien miniboss or the elevator sequence. My only gripe with it so far is with the controls, mainly movement related

Its not too much of a problem, Streets of Rage 2 if you've played before, has a distinct feeling when you play it. It feels heavy in a way, carrying a lot of raw power these characters have. It'll take a little bit to get used to them again with the circle pad, and the D-Pad I never use for this game to be honest.

Also that and this exists for some reason when you access credits on the menu

Bummer, after that official apology Sega gave you would think this would be the first step towards rebuilding Sonic.
Has Sonic 3 even been officially announced?

Nope, not as of yet but so far Streets of Rage 2 3D is coming out, along with Gunstar Heroes 3D which I'm really excited for.

Now if we can get another Treasure game to get the 3D treatment...

Can only hope SEGA pulls through with their promise. You want to go the extra step to please fans SEGA? Show us, that's all we ask.

I thought Wacky Workbench's was interesting. I suppose I'm in the minority, but I like CD a lot; the exploration element is fun to me.
For some reason 2 becomes boring for me somewhere around Mystic Cave.

I can see where you're coming from on Sonic CD, the idea of it is great. What I'm not a big fan of when it comes to Sonic CD is the level design itself being...cluttered. Sonic 2's level design yeah, varies but I guess I prefer the format of Sonic 2 compared to CD, even if some levels are passable. Oil Ocean is a fun and interesting idea for a stage, but feels a little weird to platform around most of the time. Hill Top Zone is boring to me since it doesn't add much, mostly seesaws and lava :v: riveting.

The way exploration was handled in S3&K is the bits I enjoyed with CD thankfully

Chemical Plant recieves the least 3D love to my dissapointment. The BG is on one layer and the level is on another. The water isnt on a different level and neither are the pipes.

B-But...Chemical Plant is my favorite...There shall be hell to pay SEGA! Bring out the Mega Mack!

Joking aside, yeah I'd figured this would happen. To me the best 3D Sega classic game I have so far that isn't the arcade games, is Shinobi III. Not going to stop me from picking up the game anyway, just another version to own in my eyes.
