Other emulators that let me stretch won't allow me to hide the menu bar. So if you know of another emulator that can stretch, hide menu bar, and has hq4x.. then let me know... it seems every emulator I've come across is missing one of these features..

You think it's possible to release an update just for the option of allowing it to stretch for now? I don't think Gens/GS II is coming out anytime soon.. am I right?

I'm running Mickey Mouse - Castle of Illusion. It should stretch out to the size of the window though. Other Sega emulators does stretch all the way out. Did the developers for this emulator restrict it from stretching all the way out?

The "stretch" option is mostly intended for games that use H32 mode, I.e. 256x224. Castle of Illusion uses H40 mode (320x224), so horizontal stretch doesn't do anything.

Are you referring to the emulator filling the window when the window is stretched out to a non-4:3 aspect ratio? If so, that's because Gens/GS r7 enforces a 4:3 aspect ratio on all renderers. This is done to prevent distortion that would appear if the image was stretched incorrectly. (This same sort of distortion is seen when using a Genesis on e.g. an HDTV in 16:9 mode.)

The upcoming Gens/GS II does have an option to disable this, but I really don't recommend disabling it just so it "fills up the screen". (If you're that picky about black bars, get an old 4:3 CRT or LCD.)

Yea I don't really mind the image being stretched out a bit, I just prefer having the game fill up the entire screen. Does the Gens/GS II have a release date yet?
